| Description: | UNCF - the United Negro College Fund is pleased to announce that this years luncheon keynote address will be given by U.S. Trade Representative, Ambassador Ronald Kirk! The luncheon will include a VIP Reception, greetings and remarks by local dignitaries and UNCF college presidents, a musical performance by a UNCF college choir and a keynote address by U.S. Trade Representative, Ambassador Ronald Kirk. UNCF invites you to join Ambassador Kirk in support of UNCFs higher education mission by being a sponsor or table host. Net proceeds from this important fundraising event will directly benefit students and the five UNCF member institutions located in Texas. This is the third annual North Texas Luncheon benefiting the United Negro College Fund. The past two events featured Governor Rick Perry as the keynote speaker and raised nearly $350,000 towards UNCFs higher education mission and its Texas institutions. Today - a college degree is the minimum entry-level requirement for almost every well-paying career. UNCF plays a critical role in enabling students to attend college. Supporting this event will complement your commitment to increasing educational opportunities and the overall well being of Texas residents & communities. Because college graduates earn higher incomes than non-graduates, your sponsorship will be an investment in the many future teachers, business leaders, engineers, physicians and other professionals who will graduate from UNCF member colleges to become productive participants in their communities and in the national economy. We anticipate more than 500 business & educational professionals, community leaders and students will be in attendance. | |
