NAACP/ Hubertus W.V. Willems Scholarship for Male Students

Applicant must be a male majoring in one of the following fields: Engineering , Chemistry, Physics or Mathematical Sciences. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and be applying to or accepted at an accredited college (excluding proprietary schools) in the United States. Graduate Students must posses a 3.0 average and are eligible for an award of $3000. Applicants must demonstrate financial need based on the following family income scale: 1 - (family member) - $14,700 (Income limit) 2 - (family members) - $19,800 (Income limit) 3 - $24,900 4 - $30,000 5 - $35,100 6 - $40,200 7 - $45,300 8 - $50,400 Undergraduate applicant must be a full-time student. If a student drops below the required full-time status, the Scholarship Selection Committee will adjust the grant received to 50% of the award allocated for that semester. Graduate applicant may be a full or part-time student. Members of the National NAACP Board of Directors, SCF Trustees, National Youth Work Committee, the NAACP Scholarship Selection Committee, employees and their spouses or families to the first degree of consanguinity are not eligible to apply for or receive this scholarship.
