UNCF 26th Annual Walk For Education

Description:
UNCF Annual Walk For Education & Health Education Fair on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Oakland's Lake Merritt Park in downtown Oakland. Hundreds of attendees representing Bay Area Companies, community-based and health care agencies participate in a 5K walk following by an afternoon of food and entertainment. This year, our event goal is $200,000. Our team recruitment goal is to identify at least 60 teams of 5-10 individuals who will collectively raise $2,000 per team. Event proceeds will help provide the necessary funding to raise critical funds to increase the capacity of its member colleges to serve their students.
