The Washington Inter Alumni Council (WIAC) of UNCF will sponsor its 34th Annual Black College Career Day Wednesday, February 19, 2014. There will be two events, one is scheduled at Vermont Avenue Baptist Church - 1730 Vermont Avenue, Washington, DC - 8:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. and Richard Montgomery High School, 250 Richard Montgomery Drive, Rockville, Maryland 20852 from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. The Richard Montgomery High School event is co-sponsored by Montgomery County Public Schools and the Montgomery County Chapter of NAACP.
This fair has been proven to be one of the best organized black college fairs in the area. We anticipate having over 2000 students from more than 14 different school districts at the daytime fair and more than 1000 students and parents at the evening fair. All students will be college bound sophomores, juniors and seniors who plan to attend college. Your school will be able to do on-site interviews in private rooms at the evening session at Richard Montgomery High School. On-site interviews will start at 5:00 P.M. Your college recruitment team will need to notify us if they plan to conduct on-site interviews. If they do on-site interviews, we request that they also waive the school's application fee. Schools doing on-site interviews must report to Richard Montgomery High School at 4:30 PM to receive interview packets.
Please make sure your school is well-represented at the Black College Career Day Program. Do Not miss this excellent opportunity to recruit a lot of students for your school.
