Dr. Myrtes Dunn Green

Dr. Myrtes Dunn Green received her Ph.D. in higher education from The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, AL. She is the assistant to the president and director of Title III at Lawson State Community where she assists with a wide range of complex and sensitive executive and administrative duties. Dr. Dunn Green previously served at Stillman College as the dean of education and director of planning, associate vice president for academic affairs and assistant to the president for institutional effectiveness. She assisted Stillman College in gaining initial accreditation by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.

Dr. Dunn Green is a Committee Chairperson for SACSCOC and consultant to higher education institutions for the development and review of Quality Enhancement Plans, Compliance Certification Documents and Fifth-Year Interim Reports for submission to the SACSCOC. At Lawson State, she served as the COC SACS reaffirmation of accreditation chairperson. She has also served as an on-site evaluator for over 25 institutions as well as an off-site evaluator. She was also a QEP evaluator/consultant and a peer trainer for institutional effectiveness.
