Internship of the Month: UNCF/Anthem Corporate Scholars Program

The internship is open to college juniors of color in a range of majors.

The UNCF/Anthem Corporate Scholars Program is a nationwide workforce initiative that creates career opportunities for minority students. The program will provide internship opportunities for summer 2018 for qualified students based on the eligibility requirements.

All applicants for the UNCF/Anthem Corporate Scholars Program can apply and may be eligible for internship opportunities at the Anthem Corporation. The internship is open to college juniors for a paid internship for eight weeks during the summer 2018 to develop a diverse workforce in various fields within the healthcare insurance industry based on our nation’s future hiring needs. Summer internship opportunities will be offered at various Anthem business locations. Each candidate will be expected to present to key project/department staff a final report and/or presentation of their internship experience. Housing will not be provided by the program.

Students selected for the internship will be required to participate in the UNCF Student Leadership Conference to be held in late May 2018 in Washington, DC.
