2021 MLK Virtual Award Ceremony – New York Area
The 31st Annual UNCF Martin Luther King, Jr., Awards Ceremony is the signature event presented by the Greater New York Inter-Alumni Council (IAC) of New York, which is a dedicated volunteer group comprised of alumni of UNCF’s member institutions. This well-known community event annually draws nearly 700 guests. Many attendees are proud alumni of UNCF-member institutions as well as other historically black colleges and universities.
Annually, the Greater New York IAC garners vital support from community leaders and residents within the New York area through events that support and make people aware of historically Black colleges and universities. The efforts made on behalf of the Greater New York IAC support the initiatives of the National Alumni Council (NAC). The NAC serves as the umbrella organization for member institutions’ Inter-Alumni Councils, the National Pre-Alumni Council, the National Alumni Associations and other organizations that subscribe to UNCF’s mission.
