Committed to education reform, Senior Research Associate Meredith Anderson supports the research endeavors of the K-12 Advocacy and Community Engagement team and UNCF’s Frederick D.Patterson Research Institute. Her work includes designing and managing empirical research projects focused on African American education from pre-school to K-12 and on through college.
Prior to joining UNCF, she was a program evaluator for Baltimore City Public Schools. She also served as a lecturer in American University’s Department of Public Administration and Policy. A native of San Antonio, TX, Anderson earned both her B.A. and Ph.D. in political science from Texas A&M University.
