14th Annual UNCF Mayor’s Luncheon – San Antonio
The Honorable Mayor Ron Nirenberg once again, lends his support to UNCF’s efforts to help under-resourced students from the San Antonio community by serving as the keynote speaker of the 14th annual UNCF San Antonio Mayor’s Luncheon. 2024 Honorees include: NuStar Energy (Corporate Flame) and Darryl Byrd (Excellence in Education). Last year’s event broke fundraising and attendance records by attracting nearly 300 attendees who helped raise $187,000 in support of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and education for BIPOC (Black and Indigenous People of Color) students.
