Ernest E. Just Internship Program Application Now Open!

Students pursuing careers in biomedical and life science research should apply by January 15.

The UNCF Ernest E. Just Internship Program supports Black undergraduate students pursuing careers in biomedical and life science research by connecting students to biopharmaceutical companies and leading academic research centers through a paid internship in New York and Boston.

Criteria for EE Just Internship

Students must:

  • Be enrolled at a 4-year or post-graduate* institution
  • Be a junior, senior, or graduate student (or sophomore with lab experience)
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.75
  • Be Black or African American
  • Be available for the full 11-week program (May 24 – August 5, 2023)
  • Submit a completed application by the deadline January 15, 2023

*Graduate students are only eligible for EE Just internship positions in academic labs
