UNCF would LOVE to offer you a scholarship this month! Check out these UNCF scholarships and internships currently open for applications, and complete your application before the deadlines. CodePath MAD Workshop Series
CodePath.org, a non-profit funded by Microsoft, Facebook and other supporters, is offering a free Mobile Application Design (MAD) course in February 2020. This free, hands-on workshop series will introduce you to iOS or Android app design and development and will be integrated with industry mentors from companies in Silicon Valley. Closes Feb. 3.
UNCF Ladders of Hope Scholarship (California)
This scholarship opportunity will provide six renewable awards of up to $5,000 for four years for freshmen from the South Los Angeles area, who are attending a UNCF-member institution. Closes Feb. 12.
Oracle Corporate Scholars Program
The program is for sophomores, juniors or seniors of color who are majoring in computer, mathematics, business or related areas of study. The program offers internships at Oracle headquarters and scholarships. Closes Feb. 17.
Oracle Developer Scholars Program
The Oracle Corporate Scholars Program seeks to identify students to serve as interns at Oracle headquarters during the summer of 2020. At the conclusion of the internship, interns will have an opportunity to receive a $10,000 scholarship for the 2020-2021 academic school year. Closes Feb. 28.
Integra Foundation, Inc. Scholarship
The program is open to STEM majors from specific areas of Massachusetts, New Jersey or Ohio. Closes Feb. 27.
SUEZ Corporate Scholars Program
The program is a two-year internship and scholarship program offering sophomores and juniors opportunities to work in the company’s operations throughout the country. Fields areas including engineering, quality control, compliance and water and wastewater treatment, among other more classic areas like finance and computer science. Closes Feb. 28.
Get a head start on these scholarships
The program is for undergraduate and graduate students to apply for a paid internships starting in June 2020. The students’ resumes should include experience in web development, in Java and Java Script programming languages (for software engineering applicants), or provide information on related projects or internships. Closes March 2.
Boulé Foundation Scholarship
The program will provide annual $4,000 merit-based scholarships to new college freshmen of African American descent attending four-year, accredited, non-profit degree granting colleges and universities of their choice. Closes March 2.
American Honda Foundation Scholarship (California)
The program is for male students of color from Southern California, who are STEM majors. Closes March 9.
JUST ADDED: UNCF/Best Buy Scholars Program
High school seniors planning to enroll at an HBCU can receive up to $20,000 (based on need) per year, plus other benefits, renewable annually for four years of undergraduate studies. Closes March 31.
