Scholarships for June at UNCF

UNCF offers several national and regional scholarships that close in June. Apply today!

It’s only June, but now is the perfect time to plan for the start of school in the fall. Check out these UNCF scholarships and internships currently open for applications, and complete your application before the deadlines. You will not be considered for a scholarship, internship or program until you submit all the information and essays the application requires.

 

Adidas Legacy Scholarship Program (California, Illinois, New York)
The adidas Legacy program empowers student athletes attending 27 high schools from underrepresented communities in New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles, to become mentors and changemakers in their own community. Closes June 2.

Willma H. Davis Scholarship
Sophomore, junior, or senior STEM majors in the Fall of 2021 who attend a UNCF-member institution are eligible. Preference will be given to female students from Massachusetts, although all eligible students are encouraged to apply. Closes June 10.

UNCF 3M. Applied to Life. Scholarship Program
The programs offers need-based scholarship support to underrepresented high school seniors (Class of 2021) and current first-year college students (Class of 2020) from St. Paul Public Schools and Charter Schools serving St. Paul students pursuing STEM careers, attending public and private HBCUs or Florida International University. Closes June 10.

Margie H. Verbal Emergency Scholarship Fund
The fund is to assist graduating seniors at selected schools who experience emergency financial need to graduate in Spring 2021. Closes June 10.

Papa John’s Scholarship
This scholarship is open to rising sophomore, junior or senior African American students majoring or have an academic focus in business administration/management with a concentration in human resources, marketing, communications, or public relations; supply chain; operations; information systems technology; or other STEM subjects. Closes June 14.

Reckitt Scholars
Candidates must be rising sophomores from the designated states, pursuing a career in the healthcare, public health, nutrition, and other healthcare-related STEM fields. Closes June 15.

Teachers Credit Union Scholarship (Indiana)
The scholarship is open to any college student from Indiana. Closes June 21.

RICOH Scholarship Program
The scholarship is open to HBCU students of color majoring in or have an academic focus in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Operations. Closes June 21.

J.P. Morgan Chase Wealth Management HBCU Scholarship
The scholarship is open to students who will be full-time college sophomores at one of the designated HBCUs in the Fall 2021 semester, with an interest in the financial planning profession. Closes June 24.

Napa Valley Vintners Scholarship (California)
The scholarship is open to eligible applicants of color who are pursuing a degree related to the wine industry. Closes June 30.

Meritage Homes Scholarship
The need-based scholarships are for rising college juniors studying any academic major, with preference given to accounting, business, civil engineering, computer science, construction, economics, finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, real estate, and urban planning. Closes June 30.

PepsiCo Foundation-UNCF Bronx Women’s Initiative (New York)
The need-based scholarships are open to female college students who maintain permanent residency in the Bronx, NY. Closes June 30.

Publix Cares Scholarship
The scholarships are open to students of color attending one of nine designated institutions.  Closes June 30.

Intel Scholarship
The scholarship is for full-time college juniors, seniors or graduates (MS and/or Ph.D.), studying STEM fields, attending any four-year accredited college or university in the fall of 2021. Closes June 30.

First Church of God College Scholarship (Columbus, OH)
Applicants must be church members who demonstrate a commitment to community service and be accepted to or currently enrolled at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.  Closes June 30.

Ben’s Original Seat at the Table Fund Scholarship
Candidates must be admitted to and planning to attend one of the eligible, accredited institutions that offer culinary arts and/or food science degrees, and who are pursuing a degree/certificate in fields of study leading to career paths to the food industry. Closes June 30.

Kaiser Permanente Health Equity Scholarship
Closes July 12.

EXTENDED: Target Scholars
The Program provides 1,000 need-based scholarships of up to $5,000 to first-year Black students enrolled at select HBCUs with a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in technology, leadership or design. Qualified students also get four years of academic support, mentoring, internship opportunities, networking and more throughout their college careers. Closes July 19.
