UNCF offers several national and regional scholarships and job opportunities that close in May. Apply today!

Check out these UNCF scholarships and internships currently open for applications, and complete your application before the deadlines. Cadre Internship Opportunities
Cadre is a real estate investment platform that allows individuals and institutions to seamlessly invest in fully-vetted real estate investment opportunities. Closes May 5.

Teradyne Internship and Career Opportunities
Teradyne companies help ensure that the products the world relies on for communications, information and entertainment work the way they are designed…every time. Internships for students of color are available for engineering, computer, marketing and business students, located in several states. Closes May 10.

The Nevada-UNCF Scholarship
The scholarship financially supports students who are permanent residents of the metropolitan Las Vegas, NV, region. Closes May 11.

Jack and Jill of America Foundation Scholarship
The program provides need-based scholarships to service-oriented African American rising college freshmen who have completed a minimum of 60 hours of community service activities during the 2021-2022 academic year. Closes May 11.

 

Jack and Jill – Jacqueline Moore Bowles Scholarship
The program provides need-based scholarships to service-oriented African American college students majoring in Communications, who have completed a minimum of 60 hours of community service activities during the 2021-2022 academic year. Closes May 11.

UNCF 3M Science. Applied to Life. Scholarship (Minnesota)
The program provides need-based scholarship support to underrepresented high school seniors (Class of 2022) and current first-year college students (Class of 2021) from St. Paul Public Schools, local charter schools serving St. Paul students, or the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District.  Closes May 12.

ADP HBCU Scholarship Program
The program provides need-based scholarship assistance to help reduce financial barriers to college completion for high-potential college students from low- to mid-income families. Students must attend a UNCF-member institution or one of the other participating HBCUs. Closes May 14.

UNCF Ladders of Hope Scholarship (California)
The scholarship is for current high school seniors who will be attending a UNCF-member institution full-time, and who are permanent resident of South Los Angeles. Closes May 17.

The Slater-Millner Scholars Fund
The fund will provide need-based scholarships to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) rising college sophomores on a curricular tract that leads to the study of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medicine, with a demonstrated interest in providing healthcare to underserved communities. Closes May 19.

Montgomery County Scholars Program (Ohio)
The program is open to current high school seniors (class of 2022), who are permanent residents of Montgomery County, OH and who are planning to attend any accredited, U.S.-located, two- or four-year college or university. Closes May 19.

Napa Valley Vintners Scholarship
The scholarship is open to eligible applicants of color who are pursuing a degree related to the wine industry. Closes May 19.

The Pierre and Tana Matisse Scholarship (New York)
The scholarship provides need-based assistance to Black, Latinx, and indigenous undergraduate students in New York City attending any accredited four-year institution or two-year community college; all majors are welcome. Closes May 19.

Macy’s Internship and Career Opportunities
The program gives interns a hands-on and in-depth understanding of a core business function in retail.  Interns have opportunities to directly impact the business as a key part of a team and by sharing new ideas. Closes May 26.

UNCF King Lab Scholarship (Massachusetts)
This generous scholarship is open  to graduating seniors from Wellesley High School in the Town of Wellesley, MA, and participant in METCO (Metropolitan Council for Educational Opportunity). Closes May 26.

Teague Summer Internship
Teague is currently seeking BIPOC college sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in pursuing a career in design and inspired to concept, prototype, rethink, challenge, illuminate, and design the future. The internship will be in Seattle, WA. Closes May 26.

TJX Internship and Career Opportunities
TJX is the leading off-price retailer of apparel and home fashions worldwide. We offer great opportunities, an incredible culture, and a sense of excitement for the future.  Closes May 31.

Olay Face the STEM Gap Scholarship
The scholarship is open to female sophomores of color, majoring in a STEM field. Closes May 31.

Henkel Scholarship Program
The program offers scholarships and provides training and professional development resources to help students majoring in areas of study (business, engineering, communications, etc.) that align with early career opportunities at Henkel to prepare for summer internship roles. Closes May 31.

Virginia Union University cheerleaders

Intel Scholarship
The scholarship program helps STEM students of color get on the fast track to a rewarding career; open to undergraduate and graduate students in relevant fields of study. Closes May 31.

Kaiser Permanente Health Equity Scholarship
The program is for young leaders who have a demonstrated interest in pursuing a clinical (e.g., pharmacist, physician, practitioner, nurse) or non-clinical (e.g., accounting, business administration, human resources, marketing, public policy) career in the healthcare industry. Qualifying students must live in a Kaiser Permanente service area. Closes May 31.

UNCF Twin Cities HOPE Scholarship (Minnesota)
The program provides scholarship opportunities for African American students from the Twin Cities-Metro (Minneapolis/St. Paul area). Closes May 31.

ABCNJ Lulu Fleming Scholarship Program
The program provides three merit-based scholarships to entering college freshmen who are members of a congregation which is in covenant with the American Baptist Churches of New Jersey or Florida (ABCNJ) member churches and who will attend any accredited four-year college or university. Closes June 2.

Philo TV UNCF Innovation Scholarship Program
Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Technology, Communications, or Business and be enrolled as a full-time college sophomore or junior student at any UNCF-member institution or other accredited HBCU. Closes June 2.

Robert Tanner Freeman Endowed Scholarship Program
This graduate-level program provides scholarships for Black dental students accepted to an accredited dental program. Closes June 13.
