More than ever, we need lawmakers to step up to support HBCUs. UNCF demands that lawmakers and candidates pledge to strengthen HBCU infrastructure, safety, and student life by:
- Allocating Title III funding
- Supporting debt-free funding
- Allocating FEMA Nonprofit Security Grants
- Increasing Pell Grant minimums
- Increasing endowment funding
- Awarding UNCF the Congressional Gold Medal in recognition of its achievements in education.
