The day will be filled with movement, connection, and celebration, featuring a group warm-up, walk activities, great food, and time to enjoy fellowship with the community. Attendees can also experience a lively atmosphere with a DJ, kids zone, college fair, service group engagement, and health and wellness activations.

The 6th Annual UNCF Alabama Walk for Education is a dynamic, community-driven fundraising event that brings together families, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and organizations for a non-competitive walk in support of education. Participants rally their networks to raise critical unrestricted funds for UNCF, helping provide scholarships, resources, and essential support for students and the 37 UNCF member institutions and HBCUs nationwide. Friendly competition for top fundraising and team participation adds energy and excitement, especially among service organizations, faith communities, and campus partners.

Join us on Saturday, August 22, 2026, as we work toward our goal of raising $35,000 to help students get to and successfully through college. Teams are encouraged to register through a sponsorship package by July 10, and no later than August 14, to secure their place and maximize their impact at this inspiring summer event.
