Lita F. Edwards
Lita F. Edwards is an accomplished philanthropy and community relations executive with extensive experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, social impact initiatives, and nonprofit leadership across the corporate and nonprofit sectors. A native of the New Jersey/New York area and daughter of educators, she currently serves as Area Development Director for the United Negro College Fund (UNCF) in San Francisco, leading fundraising and partnership efforts to expand educational access and opportunity. Her career includes leadership roles with the Animal Rescue Foundation, First Book, America’s Promise Alliance, Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco, the U.S. Tennis Association, American Express, Charles Schwab, and the American Red Cross. At Charles Schwab, she helped launch the company’s first Schwab/UNCF Scholars Program, creating internship and mentorship pathways for students. Lita has also served on several nonprofit boards and advisory councils. She holds a B.A. in Spanish from Rutgers University, an M.B.A. from Pace University, and certification in Corporate Community Relations from Boston College.
