Thomas W. Dinkins, Jr.

Thomas W. Dinkins, Jr. a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mr. Dinkins received his degree in Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University and is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity Inc. Professionally he has worked for companies such as MetLife, Toyota Motor Sales USA, AT&T, and Target where he was an Executive Leader of Logistics and Operations.

Mr. Dinkins has formerly served as a Scholarship Manager and assisted with innovative research around the diversification of HBCU endowments with the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center. One of his favorite quotes is by Dr. Dennis Kimbro “Success by its very nature demands a period of overcoming, a process by which we become strong in broken places.”

As a key organizational leader, Mr. Dinkins had full responsibility for managing a multi-million-dollar annual portfolio and leading a large number of professionals. Mr. Dinkins has been able to work cross-functionally in previous roles to secure and execute enterprise level partnerships with public and private funders such as; NBA, NFL Inspire Change, and JP Morgan & Chase. Mr. Dinkins ability to develop strategies and maintain relationships has allowed him to increase revenue and funding partners.

An advocate of both social justice and entrepreneurship, Mr. Dinkins believes that we are all leaders and that it is our job to ensure the next generation is prepared for life outside of the classroom. In his previous roles, he has dedicated himself to transforming, empowering, educating, and having an overall positive impact on those who follow him. With a passion for the work he does, Mr. Dinkins seeks to continually inspire individuals from fragile neighborhoods to achieve goals beyond their wildest dreams.
