Arleaya L. Martin, CFRE
Arleaya Martin brings nearly 17 years of experience successfully securing Leadership and Major gifts from Individual Donors. Arleaya began her fundraising career at Brigham and Women’s Hospital as a Leadership Giving Officer raising philanthropic support for various medical specialties. After five years at BWH, she moved to New York and served as the Development Manager for the Cornelia Connelly Center – a Catholic School dedicated to
serving girls from low–income families living on the Lower East Side. After a 3–year tenure, Arleaya moved back to Boston and assumed the role of Annual Giving Officer at Tufts Medical Center where she identified, cultivated, solicited and stewarded Leadership level Donors and Prospects.
While at Tufts MC, Arleaya redeveloped the direct mail program and ran two successful Employee Giving Campaigns. With many years of experience, Arleaya gained an extensive knowledge of the many fundraising aspects and joined the Trust for Public Land as the Associate Director of Philanthropy. In a fundraising leadership role at TPL, Arleaya implemented strategies that increased Annual Giving and Major Gift revenue by 65% in two fiscal years.
In July of 2019, Arleaya received her Certified Fund Raising Executive certificate – demonstrating her professional achievements and commitment to the fundraising profession. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with a Concentration in African–American Studies from The College of the Holy Cross and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Northeastern University.
