2024 UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball – Philadelphia

As UNCF prepares to celebrate 80 years of assisting Students reach their educational aspirations, and its member Schools with needed operating financial support, UNCF Philadelphia is excited to host it’s 12th Annual Mayor’s Masked Ball with a full weekend of activities. While the Saturday Ball remains one of the featured social events in the region, the weekend will start with the AYLA (Advancing Young Leadership Award) Social, bringing the “young adult” crowd together for an evening of fellowship and fun. And keeping with UNCF’s commitment to faith-based collaboration, the weekend will end with UNCF Sunday hosted by Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Please plan to enjoy some, or all the activities. Sunday - UNCF Sunday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church

The 2024 Mayor’s Masked Ball Weekend will culminate on Sunday, March 24th, with a day of praise and thanks with our friends at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church (5732 Race Street, Philadelphia, PA 1913). Reverend Dr. Donald D. Moore, Senior Pastor, and the congregation are welcoming UNCF to help push forward the mission to get students to and through college. UNCF and the Faith community have always had a strong partnership, focused on investing in better futures for our students. UNCF Sunday continues that tradition by raising funds to help students reach their educational aspirations. We will celebrate the efforts of our students as they aim for brighter futures for themselves, their families, and their communities. We’ll also highlight the work of the more than 100 HBCUs nationwide, including the 37 HBCUs in the UNCF network and our local standouts, Cheyney University of Pennsylvania and Lincoln (PA) University. We invite you to join us, donning your favorite school apparel or Fraternity/Sorority color.
