UNCF 80th Anniversary 5K Walk for Education – New England
The UNCF 80th Anniversary New England 5K Walk for Education is a chance for companies, groups, and individuals to support historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs), the students they serve and help uplift more diverse students toward achieving degree completion – from New England and beyond.
We will Walk As One on Saturday, October 5, 2024 for the UNCF 80th Anniversary 5K Walk for Education at Shattuck Picnic Grove in Franklin Park. The 5K course will begin at the Shattuck Picnic Grove and loops around the William Devine Golf Course, then around Scarborough Pond and finishes back in the picnic table area. Registration will open at 9am with the 5K Walk beginning promptly at 10am.
Once the Walk has concluded, all are welcomed to enjoy the festivities – food, music, family activities – and fellowship together. We welcome individuals of all ages to join us and Walk As One. By participating in UNCF 80th Anniversary New England 5K Walk for Education, you can help more talented students of color receive the funding and essential support needed to obtain their college degree.
