Darryl Ann Watkins
Darryl Ann Watkins is a relationship manager at the UNCF Institute for Capacity Building (ICB). She supports the Walmart Foundation and Kresge Initiative through program management, conference/event management and budget management. She also has managed the development of the institute’s Fiscal and Strategic Technical Assistance Program (FASTAP) and the UNCF-Bloomberg initiative.
Watkins has extensive experience in process improvement, administrative functions, human resources and problem management. Prior to joining ICB, she was the coordinator of customer service at Broward General Medical Center, where she worked to ensure that all patients received excellent quality of care. As a human resource associate for the medical center, she substantially improved the employee performance appraisal process.
She earned a master’s degree in human resource management from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL, and a bachelor’s degree in business management degree from the University of Phoenix. She also received a medical assistant specialist certificate while serving in the U.S. Air Force.
