Dr. Bobbie Knight
Bobbi Knight is the first woman to lead the private historically Black liberal arts college.
Dr. Knight was the former vice president of Alabama Power’s Birmingham division. Dr. Knight has held other executive positions and is currently the chair of the Birmingham Airport Authority Board. The University of Alabama graduate also co-chaired Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin’s transition team.
She has a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Alabama and a law degree from the Birmingham School of Law.
