John D. Kirby
John is the Area Development Director for the Philadelphia Office of the United Negro College Fund. He has a background in community leadership and public health. He is an alumni of Temple University and Drexel University and holds a Master of Public Health degree. At UNCF, he is responsible for engaging communities, government officials, and business leaders to share information about the many financial and academic resources offered by UNCF. With this shared knowledge, he seeks to garner the collaborations and financial sponsorships that will allow UNCF to continue providing scholarships to students and financial support to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
