Mya McGary Dyson
Mya McGary Dyson serves as National Director for Workplace Initiatives for UNCF. For over 17 years she has been raising resources to help deserving youth realize their dreams of attending college.
Since joining UNCF, her primary concentration has been implementing new business development strategies for corporations and individuals in the workplace.
She proudly attended two UNCF member institutions; Tuskegee University and is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications with a concentration in Journalism. Mya came to UNCF from United Way of Greater Atlanta serving as a Senior Account Executive and responsible for a $10M card value.
In her free time, Mya serves on the Host Committee for breast cancer initiatives to include The Pink Frog Foundation and previously Susan G. Komen. She is also a Woodruff Arts Center volunteer.
Mya is the proud parent of a talented son, Kellen, who is currently a sophomore 2D Animation major at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Atlanta, GA.
