Founded in 1962 in U.S. Virgin Islands, University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) is the only HBCU outside of the continental United States. UVI offers a diverse array of degree programs, featuring prominent ones in business, education, humanities and social sciences, nursing and science and mathematics.
