Welcome 2026-2027 Fidelity Scholars!

Congratulations on being selected as a Fidelity Scholar! The Fidelity Scholars Program (FSP) is more than a scholarship—it’s a comprehensive support system designed to help you succeed academically, personally, and professionally throughout your college journey.

Below, you’ll find important information to help you prepare for the months ahead, including required onboarding sessions, orientation details, key resources, and ways to stay connected as you begin your journey as a Fidelity Scholar!

1. Know Before You Go (KBYG): Required Virtual Sessions

As part of summer onboarding, scholars will participate in the following required virtual Know Before You Go (KBYG) sessions. Please register for each session:

Session 1: Welcome & Program Fundamentals – June 11 | 7:00–8:30 PM ET
An introduction to the Fidelity Scholars Program, College Success Coaching, and the community supporting you.

Session 2: Financial Aid Basics – June 18 | 7:00–8:30 PM ET
An overview of financial aid, how your scholarship works, and how to manage your award successfully. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend this session.

Session 3: Orientation & College Success – June 25 | 7:00–8:30 PM ET
Preparation for in‑person orientation and key expectations for college success.

2. Orientation RSVP – Save the Date!

The Fidelity Scholars InPerson Orientation is a high‑energy kickoff to your scholar journey and a required part of the program.

During orientation, scholars will:

  • Connect with fellow Fidelity Scholars
  • Meet College Success Coaches and Student Services staff
  • Participate in interactive workshops focused on college transition and success
  • Learn how to maximize program resources and support

Orientation Dates & Locations

Scholars will attend the orientation assigned to their state:

  • September 11–13 — Durham, NC
    (FL, NC, NJ scholars)
  • September 18–20 — Covington, KY
    (OH, KY scholars)
  • September 25–27 — Providence, RI
    (DC, MA, NH, RI scholars)
  • September 25–27 — Westlake, TX
    (CO, NM, TX, UT scholars)
