UNCF Student Ambassadors Program

Thank you for your interest in becoming a 2020-2021 UNCF Student Ambassador.

The role of student ambassadors at UNCF-member institutions is vital to ensuring that every student on campus is aware of the UNCF mission to help students get to and through college. Ambassadors are responsible for hosting at least three programs to educate and assist students with finding and applying to UNCF scholarships and internships.

Each campus can have up to six UNCF Student Ambassadors—two students per academic classification, rising sophomores to rising seniors.

In order to be considered, you must contact the designated UNCF Student Ambassador Advisor (see list below).

The designated advisor will determine and nominate students who:

  1. Are in good standing with the institution
  2. Completed the 2019 UNCF General Application
  3. Have at least a 2.5 GPA

Application Process Timeline: 

  • Advisor Nominations – by March 29, 2020
    Nominated Students Phase 2 – March 24 – 29, 2020
  • Ambassadors selected and notified – March 31, 2020

Eligibility: 

  • 2.5 GPA minimum 
  • Active UNCF profile and completed UNCF general application
  • Good institutional standing
