What is the Target Scholars Program?

Target, in partnership with UNCF, established the Target Scholars Program in 2021 to provide need-based scholarship assistance to students enrolled at select historically Black colleges or universities (HBCUs). Beyond financial support, the Program provides students with academic support as well as mentoring, internship opportunities, networking, and more—demonstrating Target’s commitment to investing in the next generation of HBCU talent and preparing a diverse, future-ready workforce.
