Student Story: Odessius Fitts

Odessius has received many awards and commendations for his exceptional leadership.

Odessius Fitts is a sophomore majoring in mass media arts at Clark Atlanta University (a UNCF-member institution). Raised in Atlanta, GA, by his mother and grandmother, he attended Booker T. Washington High School of Banking, Finance and Investment. Odessius graduated in the top 10 percent of his class and has received many awards and commendations for his exceptional leadership on campus and community service commitments.

As a student at Clark Atlanta, Odessius is a part of many clubs and organizations. He currently serves as a residential hall association assistant and an at-large representative for the school’s House of Delegates.

Odessius also launched a community service program with the Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless. As a UNCF Wells Fargo scholarship recipient, he hopes to one day pursue a career in television news.
