Bennett College

Bennett College is a small, private, historically black liberal arts college for women founded in 1873. The college offers women an education conducive to excellence in scholarly pursuits; preparation for leadership roles in the workplace, society, and the world; and life-long learning in a technologically advanced, complex global society.

Bennett College serves its female students and its community through providing a unique educational environment where students, faculty and staff thrive as they are called to develop into leaders and fulfill their potential as global thinkers, so they are prepared to compete in today’s job marketplace.

I gained experience in true sisterhood, womanhood and many other things. I learned and became skilled in being a strong black woman. The sisterhood that is present at Bennett College has taught me the importance of embracing women of all backgrounds.
