Walmart Shoppers: Your Small Change can Make a Big Change Through “Walmart Spark Good” Program
As a way to help UNCF help African American college students, HBCUs and the communities in which they are located, Walmart’s Spark Good online and in-store program provides customers with a unique and easy way to give to UNCF.
Anyone who uses Walmart.com or the Walmart app can donate to UNCF—just visit Walmart.com/SparkGood, sign up to participate, and designate UNCF as your charity of choice on your account. Walmart will round up your purchase total to the nearest dollar at checkout and donate your change UNCF.
As simple as that. What a great way to help a talented student get to and through college!
Just Round Up or Donate
Aside from the round up offer, you can chose to participate in an enhanced registry program. Spark Good Registry works just like a baby or wedding registry. Participants can purchase Walmart gift cards to support UNCF’s Emergency Student Aid program, that helps students facing urgent food and housing challenges.
Make your change count. It’s Easy!
Visit www.walmart.com/sparkgood and sign in to your Walmart.com account. Search for “UNCF” in the charity list. Once you select UNCF, under Round Up, click “Select this Charity” If you would like your future orders to round up and donate by default; opt in by sliding the button to the right. Click “Done! Start making an impact”
In future orders, you will see the “Round up” amount appear when you view the check-out cart. You can uncheck the box if you do not want to donate the round up sum for specific purchases, or you can leave the box checked if you wish to round up and donate your change.
