2022-2023 PNC Foundation Scholarship
Through a collaborative partnership with UNCF, The PNC Foundation, a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation has established a scholarship program that helps ensure educational access and the reduction of the financial burden for students from Central and Northern New Jersey studying education and early-childhood education at UNCF colleges and universities. UNCF works with the PNC Foundation Scholarship program to identify qualified scholarship recipients. Closes May 1.

2023-2024 Fidelity Scholars Program
The Fidelity Scholars Program combines an annual need-based last dollar scholarship with robust wrap-around services that lead to a degree or certificate. The program is designed to support students seeking their first degree in designated zip codes in Massachusetts, North Carolina, or Texas. Closes May 4.

2023-2024 Guilford County Schools Workplace Campaign Scholarship
Guilford County Public Schools, a school district in North Carolina, has created the Guilford County Schools Workplace Campaign Scholarship in partnership with UNCF. The program will provide a merit-based scholarship to Guilford County Public high school graduates during 2023 who will be attending an accredited, four-year Historically Black College or University (“HBCU”) in North Carolina for the 2023-2024 academic year. Closes May 7.

2023-2024 Gantt-McColl Scholarship Fund
In honor of Harvey Gantt and Hugh McColl, UNCF established the Gantt-McColl Scholarship Fund to provide financial assistance in an annually renewable, need-based scholarship to students who are permanent residents in North Carolina to get to and through college. Closes May 7.

2023-2024 HBCU – Sustainable Communities Initiative
The HBCU Sustainable Communities Initiative (HBCUSCI.org) focuses on preparing and training future business and community leaders in the field of sustainability, preparing them to create and maintain thriving communities through design, planning, investment, and policymaking. Eligible HBCU students gain access to support knowledge, and resources that help prepare them for fulfilling careers focused on solving our communities’ most pressing social, economic and environmental problems. Closes May 8.

2023-2024 Turner Construction Company Scholarship Program
The UNCF/Turner Construction Scholarship Program provides renewable need-based scholarships to students from Phelps Architecture, Construction, and Engineering High School in Washington, District of Columbia who pursue a college degree in a construction industry related field. Closes May 9.

2023-2024 Spotify x PLUS1 for Black Creatives Fund Frequency Scholarship
The Spotify x PLUS1 for Black Creatives Fund Frequency Scholarship Program provides renewable two-year need-based scholarships to Black students attending any accredited college or university interested in pursuing a career in music. The application is now open for the first cohort of eight scholarships to be awarded that will provide aid to scholars for their junior and senior year. Closes May 16.

2023-2024 Early Career Talent Development General Application
The UNCF Student Professional Development Programs (SPDP) Department works closely with some of the nation’s leading corporations and foundations to shape and execute internship programs, including both stand-alone internship programs and internship-and-scholarship programs. Closes May 17.

2023-2024 Spotify x PLUS1 for Black Creatives Fund Scholars Program
The Spotify x PLUS1 for Black Creatives Fund Scholars Program provides renewable three-year need-based scholarships and leadership development components to eligible Black students attending HBCUs with an interest in pursuing a career in media. The application is now open for the second cohort of twenty scholarships to be awarded that will provide aid to scholars for sophomore through senior years. Closes May 17.

2023-2024 Connecticut Wealth Management Scholarship
The Connecticut Wealth Management Scholarship is a scholarship program for a junior in the 2023-24 academic year. The recipient is eligible for renewal, provided they continue to meet the eligibility criteria. Closes May 18.

2023-2024 UNCF/Teradyne STEM Scholarship Program
The UNCF/Teradyne STEM Scholarship Program will provide need-based support of up to $5,000 for Black/African American students classified as a rising junior or rising senior and majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) field at an HBCU. Closes May 21.

2023-2024 CVS Health Foundation Health Care Careers Scholarship
The CVS Health Foundation Health Care Careers Scholarship was established in collaboration with UNCF to provide need-based scholarships to qualified African American or Latino/a/e students for their junior and senior years. Closes May 22.

2023-2024 UNCF 3M Science. Applied to Life. Scholarship
The UNCF 3M. Applied to Life. Scholarship Program was established to provide need-based scholarship support to underrepresented high school seniors who are interested in pursuing a STEM degree, or college freshman already enrolled in a STEM degree program. Closes May 25.

2023-2024 Editorial Freelancers Association Ruth Mullen Scholarship
With our deep commitment to diversity and education, the Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA) is proud to sponsor three $5,000 scholarships for the upcoming academic year under our Editorial Freelancers Association Ruth Mullen Memorial Scholarship program. Two scholarships are for undergraduates attending a historically Black college or university (HBCU) and one is for an HBCU graduate attending graduate school. The scholarships are available to students enrolled in a degree program leading to (1) employment in the publishing or communications industry, or (2) a career that could lead to their becoming a member of the EFA. Closes May 25.

2023-2024 Max B. and Josephine H. Ederington Medical Scholars Program
In partnership with UNCF, Dr. Sarah Belcher developed The Max B. and Josephine H. Ederington Medical Scholars Program to provide need-based scholarships to HBCU rising college sophomores who are on an academic tract to study Allopathic or Osteopathic Medicine, and have a demonstrated interest in becoming a doctor. Closes May 29.

2023-2024 CodeHouse Scholars Program
The CodeHouse Scholars Initiative will mentor, prepare and invest in Black, Latinx, and Native American students, in their first year of college, for a career in the tech industry. Closes May 29.

2023-2024 The Slater-Millner Scholars Fund
The Slater-Millner Scholars Fund program will provide need-based scholarships to rising college sophomores planning to study Allopathic or Osteopathic Medicine with a demonstrated interest in becoming a doctor. Closes May 29.

2023-2024 UNCF Enterprise Holdings Foundation Scholarship Program
The UNCF Enterprise Holdings Foundation Scholarship Program is a need-based scholarship open to students-of-color who are permanent residents of, or reside in, Texas, who are attending a UNCF Member Institution in Texas (Huston-Tillotson University, Jarvis Christian University, Texas College, and Wiley College). Closes May 31.

2023-2024 NAPA Valley Vintners Scholarship
Napa Valley Vintners Scholarship Program is available to students enrolled full time at institutions that have an established wine related program of study. Closes May 31.

2023-2024 Smartwool Scholarship
The Smartwool Scholarship Program will provide need-based scholarships of up to $2,500 to rising college juniors and seniors attending an HBCU in North Carolina or Tennessee. Awards will be disbursed in the 2023-2024 academic year. Closes May 31.
