2023-2024 UNCF-Getty Images HBCU Scholarship
The UNCF-Getty Images HBCU Program is a postsecondary, need-based, renewable scholarship to support college persistence and completion for juniors attending historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Closes Oct. 2.
2023-2024 Owens Corning Building Futures Scholarship
This generous program will provide need-based scholarship funding for entering first-year students during the 2023-2024 school year at any accredited two-year or four-year university, college, or technical school. Closes Oct. 2.
2023-2024 EESI Future Climate Leaders Scholarship Program
In partnership with UNCF, the Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI) has developed the EESI FURTURE CLIMATE LEADERS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM to provide merit-based scholarships to support 3 minority students who are preparing for a career related to environmental, energy, or climate issues. Closes Oct. 12.
2023-2024 Blue Cross® and Blue Shield® of Minnesota Diversity and Racial Equity
The Blue Cross® and Blue Shield® of Minnesota Diversity and Racial Equity in Health Program is a five-year talent development initiative for HBCU students seeking to enter the health care profession in Minnesota. Closes Oct. 16.
2023-2024 Turner Construction Company Scholarship Program
The UNCF/Turner Construction Scholarship Program provides renewable need-based scholarships to students from o Washington, DC High School 2023 graduates from Phelps Architecture, Construction, and Engineering High School, Anacostia High School, Ballou High School, McKinley Tech High School, Banneker High School, or Dunbar High School who pursue a college degree in a construction industry related field. Closes Oct. 24.
2023-2024 PNC Foundation Scholarship
Through a collaborative partnership with UNCF, The PNC Foundation, a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation has established a scholarship program that helps ensure educational access and the reduction of the financial burden for students from Central and Northern New Jersey studying education and early-childhood education at UNCF colleges and universities. Closes Oct. 26.
2023-2024 The Blanche Ford Endowment Scholarship Fund
The Blanche Ford Endowment Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Blanche Elizabeth Ford as a tribute to the love, grace, and compassion that she exemplified. This Fund provides a need-based scholarship award up to $10,000 that is renewable through the selected recipient’s university graduation. Closes Oct. 26.
2023-2024 Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile Jr. Scholarship Program
The Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile Jr. Scholarship is a renewable merit-based scholarship open to graduating high school seniors who have been accepted and are planning to attend any UNCF member institution, other Historically Black College or University (HBCU), or any accredited, four-year institution in the upcoming 2023-2024 academic year. Closes Oct. 31.
2023-2024 The Walt Disney Company / UNCF Enhanced Corporate Scholarship
The Walt Disney UNCF Enhanced Scholars Program is providing both scholarships and internships to high-achieving underrepresented students across the country. This program offers career readiness tools to assist students in achieving their goals in the entertainment industry through experiential learning, internship and mentorship with The Walt Disney Company. Closes Oct. 31.

2023-2024 Frederick Douglass Bicentennial Scholarship
To honor and commemorate the 2018 bicentennial of the birth of Frederick Douglass, a scholarship program was established in support of students attending accredited historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in the United States. The program, which recognizes and celebrates one of the transformative figures in our nation’s history, will be administered and managed by UNCF for a period of 20 years. Closes Nov. 2.
