UNCF TLC Fireside Series Presents Webinar on Nonprofits Using Candid to Raise Funds

UNCF’s Teaching and Learning Center (TLC), with the UNCF Philanthropy Institute, is presenting a series of fireside webinars through Candid Learning.
The next webinar, How Candid Helps Nonprofits,” will be held Wednesday, August 28 at 11 am ET. The webinar will address who Candid is and how their resources can help your nonprofit thrive. With their trusted data and training, Candid has resources on important issues in the social sector. This orientation will introduce you to Candid’s flagship products and other resources to help you effectively fundraise, learn from peers, and tell your organization’s story.
Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of this professional development, participants will be able to:
- Identify Candid’s resources for nonprofit professionals and where to find them.
- Determine which Candid resources are most relevant to your organization’s needs.
- Plan to tell your story online, using your nonprofit’s Candid profile.
- Explain how Foundation Directory helps you find foundation donors and how to access the tool.
TLC Fundraising Firesides is a monthly webinar series featuring fundraisers and experts in philanthropy, specifically from institutions and organizations serving HBCUs and other nonprofit communities. The TLC Fundraising Firesides provide professional development opportunities for fundraising professionals by creating a virtual space where professionals, leaders and experts in fundraising discuss relevant subjects and topics in the field.
There is no charge for the webinar, but registration is required. Attendees can earn 1 point in Category 1.B-Education in the CFRE International application.
