Disney Scholars: Capricia Sampson

Capricia Sampson, Disney Scholar, Spelman College

Spelman College (a UNCF-member institution) economics major Capricia Sampson belongs to several professional and student organizations, including the Spelman Economics Club, the Morehouse Business Association Investment Club and the Get Money Smart initiative.

Capricia recently completed an internship at Valley National Bank as an office assistant, an experience that allowed her to join in the financial education of banking professionals and learn the operations of the banking business. Outside of academics, Capricia is very involved on campus, serving as treasurer for the Residence Hall Association and completing service projects with the Community Foundation for Financial Literacy, an organization that provides personal development workshops to the Atlanta community. Capricia enjoys spending time with friends and exploring different restaurants.
