2024-2025 Nissan Scholars
The Nissan Scholars Program has decided to provide a total of 4 scholarships. Two (2) students attending Fisk University and two (2) attending Tennessee State University. The awardees will also have the opportunity to participate in a Nissan summer internship in 2025. Closes Mar. 10.
2024-2025 BNSF Railway Foundation Scholarship
The BSNF Railway Foundation Scholarship supports students who have a permanent address Tarrant County, Texas and enrolled at any UNCF Member HBCU (Historically Black College or University) or any accredited four-year institution. Preference shall be given to students who major in business or finance-related disciplines. Closes Mar. 12.
2024-2025 Jay Charles Levine Scholarship
This generous program provides need-based scholarships of up to $5,000.00 to eligible students attending UNCF Member HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), with a preference to students who Attended select K-12 schools in Michigan such as Kettering High School, Southeastern High School, Jackson Middle School, or Detroit High School for the Performing Arts (Detroit School of the Arts). Closes Mar. 13.
2024-2025 The Pierre and Tana Matisse Scholarship
The Pierre and Tana Matisse Scholarship Program will provide a renewable, need-based scholarship of up to $5,000 to eligible, selected African American, Hispanic American, and Native American students who are permanent residents of New York City, and are enrolled as a full-time, junior for the 2024-2025 school year at any US-located 4-year accredited institution. Awards will be issued in the 2024-2025 school year. Closes Mar. 17.
2024-2025 Walter and Shelia Umphrey Last Dollar Endowed Scholarship
The Walter and Shelia Umphrey Last Dollar Endowed Scholarship has been created to benefit students from the Golden Triangle communities in Texas and should be used to help close the financial gap for college juniors and seniors attending Huston-Tillotson University (Austin), Wiley University (Marshall), Texas College (Tyler), Jarvis Christian University (Hawkins), Baylor University (Waco), or Lamar University (Beaumont). Closes Mar. 17.
2025-2026 UNCF STEM Scholars Program
The UNCF STEM Scholars Program is an initiative designed to identify and provide scholarship and academic support for African American, Hispanic American, Asian Pacific Islander American, American Indian and Alaskan Native high school students who aspire to earn STEM degrees and to pursue careers in STEM fields. The program awards 100 scholarships on an annual basis. Closes Mar. 24.
2025-2026 UNCF/Teradyne STEM Scholarship Program
The UNCF/Teradyne STEM Scholarship Program supports students from a historically underrepresented community who are rising juniors or seniors majoring in STEM and attending an HBCU. Closes Mar. 27.
2025-2026 Aging Services Leadership Diversity Fellowship
The Aging Services program, is a one- year non-clinical fellowship program designed for recent graduates of a master’s degree program (or at least completed the coursework) or mid-career professionals with five or more years’ experience in their chosen work area. Closes Mar. 27.
2024-2025 John Lennon Endowed Scholarship Program
The John Lennon Endowed Scholarship program was established by Yoko Ono in the memory of her late husband, the entertainer John Lennon, in partnership with UNCF. The scholarship program is designed to provide scholarship support to deserving students attending one of the 37 UNCF member institutions. Closes Mar. 31.
2025-2026 LeBlanc/Baker Scholarship for Change
LeBlanc/Baker Scholarship for Change provides a renewable need-based scholarship to male students attending an accredited, four-year Historically Black College or University (“HBCU”). Closes Mar. 31.
2024-2025 Anheuser-Busch Foundation Scholarship
The Anheuser-Busch Foundation Degree Completion Scholarship Program was designed to provide need-based scholarships to the 2024-2025 college graduating seniors who are enrolled at any of the 37 UNCF member institutions, and who major in business related disciplines, supply chain logistics, mechanical, electrical, chemical, or industrial engineering. Closes Mar. 31.
2024-2025 UNCF LA WILDFIRE RELIEF FUND
The devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area have left many students and the children of HBCU alumni facing unexpected financial hardships. To support their continued education, UNCF has launched three programs under the UNCF Los Angeles Area Wildfire Relief Fund, offering critical financial assistance to eligible students and alumni. Closes Mar. 31.
