Student Stories: J’von Keene

I want to thank UNCF and Wells Fargo for providing me an amazing opportunity to further my education. You’ve helped me take a step further into my dreams.

Right now at Edward Waters College, I’m currently in my second semester of my sophomore year, and discovered so much about my field of study. My current interests are within the field of communications with a focus in radio, TV and film. I’m already learning so much thanks to my outstanding professors. I now know how to create newsletters, produce and edit audio and video and create a script. It’s so amazing that I can continue to study knowing I now have the funds to help me reach my dreams and accomplish my goals.

In the midst of this current pandemic, all of our courses have switched to online for the remainder of the semester, which may be difficult, but I know that I must remain diligent in my studies and won’t let this small bump sway me from the path of success. I know I am capable of so much and have new amazing ideas to absorb and share in my field of study and eventually my field of work.

This scholarship is truly a blessing and I am so grateful you chose to invest in my future. Hopefully one day I can do the same for others. Once again, thank you so much!
