UNCF has provided resources and support to empower more than 500,000 students to earn college degrees for eight decades.
UNCF has been lighting the way to making college education available to minority students since 1944. During that time, we’ve raised more than $5 billion and helped more than half a million students earn college degrees. We’ve also helped strengthen our 37 member colleges and universities, advocated for both K-12 education and continue to work for a strong federal investment in Pell Grants and other college aid for financially needy students.
