EMT: High School Students and Parents

The EMT© college-readiness program provides high school students with a unique opportunity to earn on-site scholarship offers and college acceptance into one or more of UNCF-member historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
Participating students and parents will gain college-readiness information through a series of interesting and engaging workshops facilitated by subject matter experts that cover topics such as:

- Standardized testing
- College search and admissions process
- The scholarship and financial aid processes
- Student life on campus
- The vital role and success of HBCUs
For Families
- How to guide students during the college search process
- The financial aid and scholarship process
- How to support a student once he or she is in college
