2025-2026 UNCF LA WILDFIRE RELIEF FUND
This program provides relief to HBCU Students, Alumni, & families impacted by the CALIFORNIA wildfires. The devastating wildfires have left many students & the children of HBCU alumni facing unexpected financial hardships. To support their continued education, UNCF has several UNCF LA Area Wildfire Relief Funds for students currently enrolled in good academic standing or admitted for fall 2025 enrollment at any accredited 4-year institutions. Closes July 7.
2025-2026 UNCF LA WILDFIRE RELIEF FUND (HBCU Alumni Emergency Aid)
This program provides relief to HBCU Students, Alumni, & families impacted by the CALIFORNIA wildfires. The devastating wildfires in CALIFORNIA area have left many students & the children of HBCU alumni facing unexpected financial hardships. To support their continued education, UNCF has several programs under the UNCF Los Angeles Area Wildfire Relief Fund, offering critical financial assistance to eligible students and alumni. Closes July 7.
2025-2026 The Slater-Millner Scholars Fund
The Slater-Millner Scholars Fund scholarship program will provide need-based scholarships to rising college sophomores planning to study Allopathic or Osteopathic Medicine with a demonstrated interest in becoming a doctor. Participants will receive a scholarship of up to $2,500 in their sophomore year, renewable for up to $5,000 in their junior year and up to $7,500 in their senior year, and will participate in a professional mentoring program. Closes July 11.
2025-2026 EESI Future Climate Leaders Scholarship Program
In partnership with UNCF, the Environmental and Energy Study Institute (EESI) has developed the EESI FURTURE CLIMATE LEADERS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM to provide merit-based scholarships to support 3 minority students who are preparing for a career related to environmental, energy, or climate issues. Open to students who will be enrolled as a sophomore or junior in Fall 2025 at an HBCU in the Mid-Atlantic or Southern Region. Closes July 11.
2025-2026 Health Care Scholars United: Graduate
Health Care Scholars United, funded by the United Health Foundation, supports 30 high-achieving students committed to pursuing a clinical professional career. The program will provide renewable merit-based scholarships of up to $5,000/year, wrap-around scholar support services, and exam/licensure prep and registration fee stipends. Closes July 14.
2025-2026 Health Care Scholars United: Undergraduate

2025-2026 AT&T/ The NETwork BICP – Lewis Latimer Scholarship
The AT&T / The NETwork BICP – Lewis Latimer Scholarship is targeted for incoming college freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior candidates enrolled in the targeted STEAM fields at a UNCF Member school or any accredited four-year college or university. Closes July 30.
2025-2026 Tarrant County Education Endowment Scholarship
This generous Tarrant County Education Endowment Scholarship provides awards to support undergraduate students who reside in or are permanent residents of Tarrant County in the state of Texas . Students that are currently in high school are not eligible for consideration. Closes July 31.
2025-2026 Target Scholars Program
The Target Scholars Program will provide scholarships of up to $5,000 to HBCU juniors studying business or engineering. Scholars will receive academic support, mentoring, internship and networking opportunities, and much more. Awards will be issued in the fall 2025 semester. Awards and program benefits may be renewed in the senior year. Closes July 31.
2025-2026 Eric R. Marshall and Susie Mitchell Marshall Scholarship Program
The 2025-2026 Eric R. Marshall and Susie Mitchell Marshall Scholarship Program has been created to provide three (3) recurring, need-based scholarships of up to six thousand dollars ($6,000.00) each, for Black/African American students enrolled full time at Michigan State University (East Lansing, Michigan) and Rust College (Holly Springs, Mississippi). Closes July 31.
