Our Alumni
UNCF National Alumni Council
Two years after the United Negro
College Fund was incorporated, James E. Stamps, a Fisk University alumnus,
founded the National Alumni Council (NAC) in 1946. His purpose was to establish
a national alumni organization to serve the needs of private historically black
colleges and universities in partnership with UNCF.
All graduates of UNCF schools
are automatically members of the National Alumni Council.
