The 2025-2026 UNCF Social Justice Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship program awarding $5,666 to undergraduate juniors and seniors in New York, New Jersey, Vermont or Connecticut who are committed to social justice. Students preparing for law school will be given preference. Closes Dec. 12.

The Edna M. Blum Endowed Scholarship for NY Residents is a need-based scholarship open to undergraduate and graduate students attending any accredited 4-year college or university in the U.S. The scholarship will provide an award of up to $5,000. This is a one-time award to be disbursed during the current 2025-2026 school year. Closes Dec. 12.

The Procter & Gamble HBCYOU Scholarship is for full-time undergraduate students who have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Eligible applicants must be enrolled at any U.S. located, accredited, four-year Historically Black College or University (HBCU). Closes Dec. 15.

The BASF/Alfred Chisholm Memorial Scholarship is available to undergraduate sophomore, junior and senior students enrolled at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Students attending North Carolina A&T State University and Southern University and A&M College, are also strongly encouraged to apply. Closes Dec. 15.

Are you interested in studying abroad in Africa? The Dr. Joseph A. Towles African Study Abroad Scholarship is designed to help students at UNCF member institutions fund their study abroad experience at an accredited university on the continent of Africa for Spring 2026. Closes Dec. 22.

This is a need-based scholarship for undergraduate junior year students who are residents of Georgia, Kentucky, or Tennessee and enrolled full-time at any accredited four-year college or university or for undergraduate junior year students from any state who are enrolled full-time in an eligible college or university in Georgia, Kentucky, or Tennessee. Closes Dec. 31.
