UNCF wants you to give yourself a special present—apply for one of our scholarships! Check out these UNCF scholarships and internships currently open for applications, and complete your application before the deadlines. You will not be considered for a scholarship, internship or program until you submit all the information and essays the application requires.
The scholarship is for current sophomores or juniors, who demonstrated outstanding academic within the various business disciplines at the targeted UNCF-member institutions. Closes Dec. 7.
MetLife Foundation Scholarship Fund
The fund provides need-based scholarships to qualified African American students who are juniors (Class of 2022) enrolled at accredited four-year HBCUs. Closes Dec. 7.
UNCF Tierra and Angel Long-Tyler Scholarship
The scholarship is for college juniors and seniors majoring in a healthcare field, with a preference to nursing majors. Eligible candidates must attend Duke University, Spelman College, Norfolk State University or any four-year, accredited institution in the D.C. metropolitan area. Closes Dec. 9.
Liberty Mutual Insurance LEADA@Liberty Scholarship
The program is for full time first-year, student pursuing a degree at a Greater Boston, MA community college. Closes Dec. 10.
Dr. Joseph A. Towles African Study Abroad Scholarship
The scholarship provides financial assistance for students at UNCF-member institutions to learn at an established university in Africa. Closes Dec. 17.
Greater Pensacola Education Scholarship (Florida)
The program provides academic year scholarship support to students from Escambia County, FL. Candidates are expected to be involved in school and community leadership and exhibit qualities of high character and integrity. Closes Dec. 21.
Oracle Corporate Scholars Program
The program includes scholarship support and an internship for African American, Hispanics or Native Americans who are currently pursuing a specified major. Closes Dec. 21.
Oracle Developer Scholars Program
The program offers technical development internships during the summer of 2021 and an opportunity to receive a $10,000 scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic school year. Closes Dec. 21.

The Wellington Management Foundation Scholarship
The scholarship is open to students at UNCF-member schools enrolled during the 2020-21 academic year. Students should be considered a junior during the 2020-2021 year, graduating in 2022, majoring in a selected field. Closes Jan. 5.
PNC Foundation Scholarship (New Jersey)
The PNC Foundation has established a scholarship program for students from Central and Northern New Jersey studying education and early-childhood. Closes Jan. 6.
UNCF K-12 Education Fellowship
The program selects undergraduate juniors from HBCUs for a 10-week summer experience that includes leadership development, a paid internship with an innovative K-12 educational or organization or school, and participation in an education reform case competition. Closes Jan 18.
The Pierre and Tana Matisse Foundation (New York)
The Foundation in partnership with UNCF, has developed the program to provide need-based scholarships to Black, Latinx, and Indigenous undergraduate students from the five boroughs of New York City attending any accredited four-year institution or two-year community college in the United States. Closes Jan. 28.
Just Added: The Black Ambition HBCU Prize
The Black Ambition HBCU Prize offers funding and mentorship for Black and Latinx entrepreneurs. Closes Feb. 18.
The UNCF General Application is used to establish an applicant pool of potentially eligible students for ongoing scholarship opportunities that are unpublished and do not require an online application. Apply by March 31, 2021.
