The Mayor’s Luncheon offers vital financial support and raises awareness for UNCF’s mission. UNCF plays a crucial role in positively transforming lives by expanding access to a college education for students from underrepresented communities — serving as a gateway to fulfilling careers, active citizenship, and a spirit of service.

Join the celebration with San Antonio’s corporate, community, and civic leaders along with clergy, local alumni, scholars, and parents, all united by the common goal of nurturing and advancing the potential of tomorrow’s leaders. Your attendance at the 2025 UNCF San Antonio Mayor’s Luncheon will be a shared investment in the continuous effort to foster a stronger San Antonio community by enhancing educational opportunities for underrepresented students in our region.

The Annual Black History Month Tampa 5K Run/Walk for Education and Community Festival is an exciting event that celebrates Black history, education, and community. Anyone who wants to have fun while learning about the achievements and contributions of African Americans throughout history in the Tampa Area can attend. A great opportunity to support underprivileged students by raising funds for education. Come and honor the legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and their contributions to education and the history of the Black community in Tampa.

UNCF – the United Negro College Fund – seeks your sponsorship support for the 2024 DMV (DC, MD and Northern VA) Leaders’ Breakfast. Net proceeds from this fundraising event will support UNCF’s mission: To build a robust and nationally recognized pipeline of underrepresented students, who, because of UNCF support, become highly qualified college graduates and to ensure that our network of member institutions is a respected model of best practices in moving students to and through college.

UNCF member colleges graduate more of their African American students than other private colleges or public universities, and their low tuition rates are less than half those charged by other private colleges. Because college graduates earn higher incomes than non-graduates, your sponsorship will be an investment in the future teachers, business leaders, engineers, physicians and other professionals who will graduate from UNCF member colleges to become productive participants in their communities and in the U.S. economy.

Join us for the 9th annual North Texas Mayors’ Masked Ball. This premier fundraising and social event focuses on raising awareness of the need and benefits of a college education, the students UNCF serves and the contributions of historically Black colleges and universities. The proceeds from the event will go towards supporting UNCF and its mission to provide assistance to deserving minority students in North Texas.

These prestigious alumni awards recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to their alma mater, their community and/or UNCF. Each school submits the name of one alumnus for the Hall of Honor (Outstanding Alumni Award) and one alumnus for the Outstanding Young Alumni Award.
