The Councilman Edward Burroughs III Scholarship Program is for high achieving, low-income students who are residents of Prince George’s (PG) County, Maryland, District 8. Closes Sept. 3.

2025-2026 James J. and Margaret M. Kerrigan Endowed Scholarship
The James J. and Margaret M. Kerrigan Endowed Scholarship will provide financial support to juniors or seniors in any fields of art and education at Historically Black Colleges & Universities. Preference shall be given to students studying K-12 Education or Fine / Performing Arts. Closes Sept. 4.

The Billye Suber Aaron Legacy Scholarship provides a renewable, need-based scholarship to selected undergraduate full-time college students attending Clark Atlanta University, Spelman College, Morehouse College, and Texas College. Closes Sept. 8.

2025-2026 Aging Services Leadership Fellowship
The Aging Services program, is a one- year non-clinical fellowship program designed for recent graduates of a master’s degree program (or at least completed the coursework) or mid-career professionals with five or more years’ experience in their chosen work area. The cohort learning model will provide a community for the new leaders in aging services. Closes Sept. 9.

The Renee Starks Steed Memorial Scholarship is open to current sophomores, juniors, or seniors, who attend an HBCU (Historically Black College or University) majoring in fashion, fashion marketing, textile, and apparel design, or a similar area of study. This is a need-based scholarship that will be awarded during the 2025-2026 academic year. Closes Sept. 15.

2025-2026 Liz Colantuono & Mark Sanz Endowment Scholarship
The Liz Colantuono & Mark Sanz Scholarship provides need-based scholarships to Native Americans or adult refugees or a child of adult refugees who are currently enrolled or have been accepted to a 4-year U.S. Based accredited institution. Preference is given to residents of Montana, or a resident of Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, New Mexico or Idaho. Closes Sept. 22.

The 2025-2026 Elaine B. Hancock Endowed Scholarship is open to African-American students at UNCF member institutions and/or Howard University. Closes Sept. 22.

2025-2026 Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile Jr. Scholarship Program
The Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile Jr. Scholarship Program assists students attending a UNCF member institution, other Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), or any accredited, four-year institution. Closes Sept. 22.

The Michael Jackson Endowed Scholarship is open to students at UNCF member institutions who are Communications and Performing Arts Majors during the 2025-26 school year. Closes Sept. 30.

2025-2026 Professor Emeritus John Edward Lillich Endowed Scholarship Program
The Professor Emeritus John Edward Lillich Scholarship will provide a need-based scholarship to students majoring in an Engineering field. This scholarship is for students at any HBCU, with Preference given to those at NCAT. Closes Sept. 30.

The William Wrigley Foundation Scholarship is designated for students at UNCF member schools majoring in Chemistry, Economics, Engineering (chemical, mechanical or industrial), Marketing, Finance, Business, Accounting, Computer Science. Closes Sept. 30.

2025-2026 WXIA TV11 Community Service Scholarship
The WXIA TV11 Community Service Scholarship was established by WXIA-TV, a television station licensed to Atlanta, Georgia, in partnership with UNCF, to provide need based scholarships to students and recognize those who exemplify outstanding achievement in community services during their high school years. Closes Sept. 30.

The Montgomery County Scholars Program provides need-based scholarships to young people from Montgomery County, Ohio to attend college. Closes Sept. 30.
