2025-2026 Renee Starks Steed Memorial Scholarship
The Renee Starks Steed Memorial Scholarship is open to current sophomores, juniors, or seniors, who attend an HBCU (Historically Black College or University) majoring in fashion, fashion marketing, textile, and apparel design, or a similar area of study. This is a need-based scholarship that will be awarded during the 2025-2026 academic year. Closes Apr. 3.
2026-2027 Detroit HBCU Scholarship Endowment
The purpose of the Detroit HBCU Scholarship Endowment Fund is to provide 1 (one) annual, renewable, and need-based scholarships up to $5,000 (five-thousand dollars) to students graduating from a high school with a Detroit address or students transferring from a metro-Detroit community college to attend a partner HBCU. Closes Apr. 3.
2025-2026 Bryant X. Phelps Endowed Scholarship Program
The Bryant X. Phelps Endowed Scholarship Program was established to provide a need-based scholarship program to support students from Texas. Students must be enrolled full-time at any U.S. located accredited, four-year institution, with preference given to students attending Morehouse College, Clark Atlanta University, Spelman College, Huston-Tillotson University, Prairie View A&M University, and Texas Tech University. Closes Apr. 13.
2025-2026 AlixPartners/UNCF Scholarship
AlixPartners has partnered with UNCF to provide five (5) need-based scholarships to HBCU students classified as juniors for the 2025-2026 Academic Year pursuing a degree in business, accounting, finance, analytics or STEM (specifically technology, engineering, or math). Students must be enrolled full-time as a junior at a UNCF-member institution of Florida A&M University, Hampton University, Howard University, North Carolina A&T University, or Tennessee State University. Closes Apr. 14.
2026-2027 UNCF STEM Scholars Program
The UNCF STEM Scholars Program is an initiative designed to identify and provide scholarship and academic support for students who aspire to earn STEM degrees and to pursue careers in STEM fields, awarding 75 scholarships. The program enables highly capable young people to pursue undergraduate STEM majors and prepares them for successful careers in a variety of STEM professions. Closes Apr. 15.
2026-2027 Montgomery County Scholars Program
The Montgomery County Scholarship Program, was established by the Municipality of Montgomery County- Ohio and UNCF to provide need-based scholarships to 2026 high school graduates who are Montgomery County, OH residents that attend any accredited, U.S. located 2-year or 4-year college of university in the 2026-2027 academic year. Closes Apr. 15.
2026-2027 LeBlanc/Baker Scholarship for Change
Administered by UNCF, the LeBlanc/Baker Scholarship for Change provides a renewable need-based scholarship of up to $4,000 annually to male students who will attend an accredited, four-year Historically Black College or University (“HBCU”) beginning fall of the 2026. Applicant must be a graduating high school senior at the time application submission from a public high school located in District of Columbia, Northern Virginia or Maryland. Closes Apr. 15.
2026-2027 City of Chicago’s UNCF Workplace Campaign Scholarship
The City of Chicago’s UNCF Workplace Campaign Scholarship was created in partnership with the City of Chicago and UNCF to ensure that dependents of City of Chicago employees can earn a college degree. This merit-based scholarship is open to full-time, four-year university students of any classification who have a parent or guardian employed by the City of Chicago and its affiliate agencies. Closes Apr. 20.
2025-2026 Richard F. Freeman Scholarship Fund
The Richard F. Freeman Scholarship Fund is designed to provide financial assistance for deserving students from Southeast Michigan who are afforded the opportunity to earn a college degree. Applicant must be a current college freshman enrolled full-time at any accredited four-year institution, non-profit college or university for the 2025-2026 academic year and have demonstrated unmet need determined by the financial aid office. Closes Apr. 21.
2026-2027 Foot Locker Foundation, Inc-UNCF Scholarship
Foot Locker Foundation, Inc. has partnered with UNCF to fund this scholarship program for students attending a UNCF member college or university during the 2026-2027 school year. All undergraduate classifications (freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors) and high school seniors will be considered. Previous recipients of the Foot Locker Foundation, Inc. – UNCF scholarship must reapply to be considered for the 2026-2027 school year. Closes Apr. 23.
2025-2026 Turner Construction Company Scholarship Program
The UNCF/Turner Construction Scholarship Program provides renewable need-based scholarships to students from o Washington, DC High School 2023 graduates from Phelps Architecture, Construction, and Engineering High School, Anacostia High School, Ballou High School, McKinley Tech High School, Banneker High School, or Dunbar High School who pursue a college degree in a construction industry related field. Closes Apr. 30.
2026-2027 Northern California Community Scholarship Program
The Northern California Community Scholarship was established to provide merit-based scholarships to students from Northern California. Applicants must be a full-time enrolled undergraduate student at any accredited UNCF member institution or other HBCU; be a high school senior enrolling in an HBCU in Fall 2026; or be a student from Northern California attending any college or university. Closes Apr. 30.

2026-2027 Coco Gauff Tennis Scholarship
The Coco Gauff Tennis Scholarship will provide a need-based scholarship of up to $8,500 to eligible HBCU student-athletes competing on their intercollegiate tennis teams. Awards will be issued in the 2026-2027 academic year. Closes May 1.
